No experience required, super stiff people always welcome :) I take a very simple, science-based approach that is effective for everyone.
1 hour classes consisting of 2-5 minute hold times in poses, designed to improve flexibility over time, allowing free movement and greater range of motion in every day life. A great accompaniment to other sports and activities.
Please note! Props are required-blocks, straps, pillows, (or suitable alternatives) a wall/door sometimes even a chair or stool. Also be mindful this is not a "relaxed" or "restorative" practice, Gravity Yoga involves going into a place of discomfort and holding it in stillness for a long period of time, this is mentally challenging. But the benefits are great both in the body and the mind!
