About Event

This is part 2 of a 2-part series where we share what happens during each batch of our accelerator and how founders can successfully apply to Iterative.

Iterative is hosting a livestream to give founders an understanding of 5 things we look for in applications and the biggest mistakes we see in applications. Join Hsu Ken, Managing Partner at Iterative, as he explains what a good application to Iterative looks like and mistakes to avoid when applying. If you're a founder in SEA thinking about joining an accelerator, this is for you.

Hsu Ken was previously the Chief Product Officer of Workmate, an on-demand blue collar staffing platform in Southeast Asia. In 2014, he was VP of Product at Weave (YCS14). In 2009, he started Decide.com an early machine learning company that predicted the future price of consumer goods. It was acquired by eBay in 2013.

Since Iterative started in March 2020, we have raised $65M across two funds, invested in 65+ companies, 120+ founders and the total value of Iterative companies is now worth $1.2 billion.

Iterative’s $55M Fund II was led by Cendana, K5 Global, Village Global, Goodwater Capital with participation from a large network of Silicon Valley founders and execs including Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox), Achmad Zaky, (Bukalapak), Andrew Chen (General partner a16z, Uber), Qasar Younis (Former COO YC, Applied Intuition), David Shim (Foursquare), Kum Hong Siew (Head of Airbnb Asia), Moses Lo (Founder, Xendit), and many more. It’s worthwhile noting that half of the $55M Fund II is dedicated to making follow-on investments in portfolio companies.

Iterative's mission is to increase the GDP of Southeast Asia through entrepreneurship. To do that, we need to (1) make entrepreneurship more accessible to more people and (2) give founders the tools and support to be successful. As part of this mission, we want to share how Iterative helps startups grow during each batch and how founders can successfully apply to Iterative.

If you know other founders who would benefit from attending this livestream, we’d appreciate it if you shared the event link with them as well.
