About Event

How can donors maximize the impact of their donations to address climate change? The answer lies in studying history.

Arguably two of the greatest advances in the climate fight have happened over the last 15 years, with prices of batteries declining by 80% since 2013, and solar panels by 96% since 2008. These advances catalyzed the transformation of our energy and transportation systems. Learn how you can apply these lessons from history to turbocharge the next phase of the green transition with your donations.

Giving Green is your guide to high-impact climate giving. We find underfunded and important sectors of climate action where you can maximize the impact of your donations. Giving Green's founder Dan Stein will talk through our research findings and how you can apply them to your own giving. We'll then hear from Harlan Cutshall from the Clean Air Task Force, Annie Sartor from Industrious Labs, and Sandra Takamine from the Good Food Institute about the work each nonprofit is doing to advance the policy & technology powering climate solutions.

This is an in-person event; we are unable to offer hybrid access at this time. Presentation and Q&A will be from 6p to 7p, with time to chat with our team and other climate givers before and after.
