From Evidence to Action: Tackling Environmental Crime Together
This invitation-only roundtable will bring together financial institutions, regulators, enforcement agencies, and cross-sector experts to tackle the urgent issue of environmental crime and illicit financial flows.
Despite its widespread impact, environmental crime remains a low priority. This high-level dialogue seeks to elevate its importance and explore practical steps for a stronger, more coordinated response.
The discussion will cover its many dimensions—from wildlife trafficking and illegal logging to its links with financial crimes and human rights abuses—and highlight its toll on biodiversity, natural resources, and economies.
The session aims to build momentum for collective action by strengthening partnerships, enhancing the financial sector’s role in detection and disruption, and advancing real-world solutions, which will lay the foundation for a more unified and sustained global effort to combat environmental crime.
