​What is First Believers?

​First Believers is our dedicated angel investor program which comprises two parts - theory and practice.

​‍PART ONE: THEORY (IRL EVENT)
This is a two-day in-person conference where you will learn the craft of investing, hear from ANZ’s best investors and form your network of investors. This event will take place in Melbourne on 8 & 9 May.

​PART TWO: PRACTICE
The second part of First Believers is all about doing the reps to build your investor muscle. From May 12th to June 24th you'll be part of an intensive virtual selection process involving hundreds of the most exciting new startups. You'll practice reviewing decks, interviewing, and ultimately helping inform Startmate's investment decisions.
