Aigné Goldsby- Attorney Goldsby is currently admitted to practice law in Connecticut State and Federal Court. Thus far in her legal practice, Attorney Goldsby has gained extensive experience in pretrial and trial proceedings. She has taken and defended over two hundred depositions and completed four jury trials to verdict. Attorney Goldsby’s clients have included insurance companies, healthcare providers, municipalities, product manufacturers, and school districts.

Attorney Goldsby is also the Founder of Black Esquire® LLC, an organization that provides opportunities and resources for current and future BIPOC legal professionals. Through Black Esquire®, Attorney Goldsby is a law school coach and equips BIPOC pre-law and law students to achieve their lawyers dreams by using their V.A.L.U.E. (VOICE to ADVOCATE so others can LEARN and UNDERSTAND their EXCELLENCE). She is also a speaker and engages in diversity, equity and inclusion consulting. She received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.

Attorney Goldsby is the immediate past President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association in Connecticut. She is also active in the Connecticut Bar Association as a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the Diversity Director of the Young Lawyers Section. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ACLU of Connecticut, on the Steering Committee for the Governor's Council on Women and Girls, and as a member of the Division of Criminal Justice Community Engagement Board.

Attorney Goldsby has also been recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a New Leader in the Law in 2018 and by the UConn Law Alumni Association with the Graduate of the Last Decade Impact Award in 2020. 

Aisha Joseph- Aisha L. Joseph is a proud native New Yorker, first-gen college graduate and first-gen professional who is the daughter of St. Lucian immigrants. Aisha has worked in law school career services for ten years. Aisha has worked at New York Law School (NYLS) since 2015 where she provides general career and academic curriculum counseling services to law students as a member of the Office of Academic Planning and Career Development, is a Deputy Diversity Officer for Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and is an Adjunct Professor (Law Office Externship seminar). Prior to NYLS, Aisha worked as a Career Advisor and the Public Interest Advisor in the Career Development Office at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law (Hofstra University). Aisha chaired the NYC Bar Association Career Advancement and Management Committee (2015-2018), is the current Secretary of the NYC Bar Association Committee for the Recruitment and Retention of Lawyers (2020-Present), and is a Northeast Regional Resource Council Representative with the National Association of Law Placement.

Before starting a second career as a law school administrator, Aisha practiced construction and commercial litigation for nine years in both the government and private sectors within the New York City metropolitan area. Aisha earned a Bachelor of Arts (with a double major in Economics and Philosophy, Politics & Law) from Binghamton University and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. Aisha is admitted to practice law in New York (state and federal courts).
