About Event

As facilitators, trainers and educators, we give away a lot and can sometimes feel a lack of energy or inspiration. 🔋

This restorative Expressive Arts session will nourish your inner artist (which we all have) and enable you to discover resources that can support you in your daily and professional life. 🎨

Since the session will be interactive, please make sure you are joining from a quiet space where you can express yourself and move freely. Bring a few sheets of paper or a notebook, a pen, and some colorful crayons/markers.

In this Facilitation Sandbox, felicitated by Katka, we will:

🎨 Experience the Expressive Arts process first hand

💡 Get inspired on how to include art-making into your sessions

✨ Connect to yourself and expand your “personal touch”, both as a human and a facilitator

About the host:

Katka is a Learning & Development Professional passionate about movement and bringing people closer together. She firmly believes that by connecting to our bodies, we can deepen connection with ourselves and others, and ultimately make this world a better place.

As a facilitator, Katka draws mainly from the Expressive Arts approach to create enriching, process-based experiences. She is also a mum of a one-year-old and she started a learning cluster on Empowering Working Parents within the L&D Shakers community. Don't hesitate to connect if you want to share your parenting story with her.

The Facilitation Sandbox sessions are not about "experts" and "perfection". They are about trying new things out, pushing beyond the comfort zone, making mistakes, reflecting, and learning with peers. The Sandbox is a testing ground, an experimental arena, and a space for us to hone our facilitation skills as a community.
