About Event

Whether you’re a novice or an experienced facilitator, you likely have some awareness of your facilitation style. You have your favorite topics, tools, and activities.

But have you considered your embodied expression? 💡

How aware are you of the energy that you project physically and that you transfer to your participants? How does nonverbal communication influence the impact you have on people? 🤔

In this experiential workshop led by Katka Di Marco, we will explore our facilitation style from a body-oriented perspective. We will engage in guided interactive exercises, reflections, and group discussions to explore how natural elements (earth, water, fire, air) manifest in the way we facilitate. 🍃🌊🔥🌬️

Together, we will:

  • Discover your natural facilitation style from an embodiment perspective

  • Identify your strengths and weaknesses as facilitator

  • Commit to a simple body-oriented practice to expand your range as facilitator and strengthen an area of competence you might be lacking

Since we will be using physical movement in the session, please make sure you join from a space that allows you to do that freely! Kindly bring a pen and paper too.

See you there! 🙌

About Facilitation Sandbox

The Facilitation Sandbox sessions are not about "experts" and "perfection." They are about trying new things out, pushing beyond the comfort zone, making mistakes, reflecting, and learning with peers.

The Sandbox is a testing ground, an experimental arena, and a space for us to hone our facilitation skills as a community.
