Meet Yin Wu, CEO & Founder of Pulley
Yin, CEO and founder of Pulley, is a three-time founder and YC alum that built Pulley to help businesses fuel their growth with the power of equity. She lives in the Bay area with her husband and two kids.
Yin’s entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by her extensive experience founding three previous companies—Overlab, Echolabs, and DIRT Protocol. Each venture has contributed invaluable lessons that culminated in the creation of Pulley.
Founded in 2019, Pulley was born from Yin’s realization that equity is one of the most valuable assets a company owns, yet many founders struggle to understand it fully. With Pulley, Yin aims to empower startups to better manage their cap tables and equity, allowing them to attract talent and maximize growth. Pulley has since become the go-to solution for over 1,500 companies looking to streamline equity management.
Yin’s journey began in Kentucky, and her path led her through Stanford, where she was inspired by the tech ecosystem. Her career has taken her from NGO work in Kenya to founding ventures backed by top investors like General Catalyst and Greylock. With Pulley’s success, Yin continues to innovate and push boundaries in the startup space.
