About Event

Join us for an exclusive, invite-only gathering of top executives on January 16th, organized by ISACA Vancouver in partnership with CPA BC and CIO Canada Vancouver Chapter. This event will welcome approximately 150 senior-level attendees, including CIOs, CFOs, CISOs, and CEOs, for an evening dedicated to exploring the future of cybersecurity and digital transformation.

The evening will begin with a keynote address from a distinguished speaker from the Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity and the Canadian Communications Security Establishment (confirmation pending), providing critical insights into Canada’s evolving cybersecurity landscape. This will be followed by a dynamic panel discussion, featuring representatives from our monetary sponsors, focused on the transformative impact of AI on cybersecurity practices today.

Keynote - 6:00pm

Bridget Walshe - Associate Head @ Canadian Center for Cyber Security

Bridget is the Associate Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security. Prior to this role, Bridget served the Director General of Operations, Security and Intelligence at the Privy Council Office for two years, where she was responsible for providing advice on key operational and policy issues in the Canadian Security and Intelligence community.

Bridget began her career at CSE in 2003 and has held various positions including Director General for the Secure Solutions and Services Directorate where she was responsible for applied research, architecture, engineering and development of secure cryptographic solutions. Bridget also worked as a mathematician, where she conducted applied research in cryptography and provided advice and guidance on the use of cryptographic algorithms by the Government of Canada. In subsequent roles she led teams of mathematicians and computer scientists in the development of complex, cryptologic solutions using both commodity and high-performance computing platforms.

Bridget holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Victoria.

Stephen Singh - Global VP, M&A/Divestitures, Private Equity & CyberRisk @ Zscaler

Bringing over 25 years of expertise in management consulting, professional services, enterprise IT, and cybersecurity.

Stephen has been a prominent contributor to the cyber insurance ecosystem, collaborating with brokers, carriers, reinsurers, and clients to integrate emerging best practices—such as Zero Trust architecture—to mitigate claims and reduce financial losses.

Previously, Stephen served as Vice President and CTO at DXC Technology, where he guided clients through digital transformations by leveraging emerging technologies and industry-leading methodologies. Prior to that, he established Fidelity Investments, Enterprise Technology and Cyber Advisory Practice, addressing the firm's most complex business challenges.

Stephen’s career also includes leadership roles in Enterprise IT at globally recognized organizations, including PwC, Travelers Insurance, Juniper Networks, Cosine Communications, and AT&T.

He holds B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Rochester and has completed executive education at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
