Eva Panetti is an Assistant Professor in Management at the University of Naples Parthenope (Italy), where she teaches “Innovation & Business Design” and “International Business Strategy” and she holds a course on the “Third Mission of the University” at the University of Bern (Switzerland) and at Vilnius University (Lithuania). In 2020, she was awarded the Guido Dorso Prize for her commitment to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Campania sponsored by the Senate of the Italian Republic. She was one of the proponents of the UNESCO Chair on “Entrepreneurship and innovation lifelong learning in business ecosystems of Mediterranean and MENA countries” awarded by Parthenope University in 2021 and she is currently working on the development of a Blue-tech cluster in Naples. She is Visiting Professor at the Pacífico Business School (Perù) and School of Economics in Warsaw (Poland). In 2017, she was a visiting scholar at the MIT Industrial Performance Center, where she investigated the Boston biotech ecosystem. Eva is the author of numerous publications on innovation ecosystems, university-business relations, entrepreneurship, regional innovation strategies, and technology transfer.

She is the author of the book "The Dynamics of Local Innovation Systems" (2019), published by Routledge.
