COVID-19 has turned work life upside down! A new era of work has arrived, and it brings new challenges and opportunities. Working from home, hybrid work arrangements, longer hours, shorter hours, job losses, landing new and better jobs, and business disruption, business growth—we want to hear your stories!

This meetup is for Black communities, People of Colour, and Newcomers to share their experiences over the last two years. The discussion is part of important research that may shape future policies to strengthen career prospects in the Atlantic community.

It’s also a great opportunity to connect with peers and the people and organizations striving to create a brilliant and equitable post-COVID economic rebound!

So join us, ICTC and our partners, on August 16 at 5:30 pm.

  • Dinner is on us!

  • There’s a raffle draw for fabulous prizes!

  • And every discussion participant gets a $20 Amazon gift card!

What to expect:

An open session for participants for sharing their experiences. Propose career/business-related topics of discussion and discuss your ideas.

Key community partners serving Black Communities, People of Colour, and Newcomers will be present to answer any questions and provide advice and resources.

Participants interested in hearing about our research progress or any articles resulting from this research can be added to a follow-up list. Identities will not be shared.
