About Event

Want to see what building electrification looks like in action?

This potluck dinner will include a (mostly) green home tour with highlights including:
-Heat pump HVAC system
-Heat pump water heater
-a portable (renter friendly) induction cooktop
-and a discussion of when it's appropriate to get a new electrical panel, a 200 amp service upgrade or not, and what knob and tube wiring is and why it's problematic if you want to electrify...

What to bring: a dish to share!

Where: an East Bay back yard, OUTDOORS (bring layers)
Note that we may move things indoors if it rains.
This will be about a half mile from an East Bay BART station, and near the #72 AC transit bus line. Bicycle parking and car parking is available as well.
The exact location will be emailed to attendees before the event.

Accessibility note: the back yard is wheelchair accessible. However, the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
