Will the rise of "nature tech" make a difference on ecosystems and habitat protection?

​Over the past 18 months, Daniel co-founded and launched the MRV Collective / Nature Tech Collective, an industry alliance with over 100 organizations and a mission to close the $700B annual nature finance gap. This nascent sector is getting attention — but can it make a difference? In this talk, we'll explore how collaborative and co-creative design methods have helped to concentrate and accelerate shared understanding and purpose among many organizations. We'll also explore learnings from past facilitations including senior leadership of the TNFD, the impact of for-profit business models, tensions between science and indigenous perspectives, and challenges related to policy and financial regulation.

​For discussion, we will explore how members of Earth Team have already or are considering to partner with nature tech companies, including shared learnings and risks.
