We've partnered with Matchbox to bring you a dating-focused dinner party. Before the event, Matchbox will send a questionnaire for guests to complete. This will curate romantic matches to inform the seating arrangements at the dinner party.
The Dinner Table aims to redefine the dining experience in NYC by facilitating connections between people and restaurants. It's not just a dinner party; it's an opportunity to make lifelong connections and memories.
Inspired by the Greek Goddess Selene, Selene New York brings the festive spirit and generous cuisine of the Greek Islands to life
Event Agenda:
7pm: We're allocating the first 30-45 minutes for a mix and mingle session. This is your opportunity to meet and engage with the other guests in attendance.
7:45pm: We'll ask everyone to be seated and kick off dinner service with appetizers served family-style.
You can find your name card on the tables to see where you'll be seated.
8:15pm: Before entrees are served, we'll ask all guests to switch seats and find a new group of people to dine with.
Selene's staff will replace your tableware and utensils, but please bring your water and wine glasses with you when moving seats.
8:45pm: As entries are finished, we'll release the matches - you'll get a text/push notification on your phone with the name of your match(!!!)
8:50pm: All guests will be asked to relocate and find their match in the dining area.
Grab your wine glasses and find a new seat with your match.
This is also an opportunity to find seating around a new group of people, if you wish :)
9pm: Desserts will be served family-style at the tables / new seats you've moved to.
9pm - 10pm: The remaining hour is for you all. Enjoy the space, meet with other guests, and most importantly, make new connections!
Family Style Dinner Service
Enjoy a 3-course meal served family style with a choice of 3 appetizers, four entrees, and two desserts through two hours.
Each ticket purchase includes a glass of wine, with a choice of red, white, or sparkling.
Additional drinks can be purchased individually at the bar.

What is the general age range of your events?
We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others in NYC.
Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
Can I come alone?
Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the evening.
What is your refund policy?
We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event
Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. Our culinary team ensures our menus are flexible to account for a wide array of dietary preferences. During the dinner service, we will have staff take orders and dietary preferences on the spot.
