Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Master Class Group Coaching Program for Executives, Leaders or Coaches

Weekly series for July 2022: new dates and time — Fridays, 12:30am-2:30pm (EST) via Zoom

What’s unique about this DEI group coaching program?

This is not a course. Ideally, you’ve had some exposure to previous DEI trainings, principles and practices. We’ll cover some foundational terms and concepts as needed.

This is a DEI Master Class Group Coaching Program with no set curriculum. You’ll bring the DEI agenda that you want to work on and we’ll dive deep into why you don’t currently have the results or achievements you want.

Come and practice showing up as an executive and leader doing powerful DEI work with a lot at stake. Practice engaging as a leader, advocate, ally or co-conspirator who’s committed to taking bold steps to change your status quo and create something new and different…despite the personal, professional and organizational transformation it may require. Get support and be part of a community of peers working towards implementing DEI in your respective organizations.

Please be ready to do deep work as well as to hone your ability to do powerful work with others. Please note that your degree of effort and commitment during, and in-between each session will influence the depth of value you get from each session.

The focus of this program is on embedding DEI principles and practices into your ways of thinking, how you show up as a leader to do this work, your decision-making processes, your work and your company.

How this group DEI coaching works

As there’s no set curriculum, and participants direct each session’s topics, the content will vary depending on participant needs and agendas each week. However, the coaching may include the following two practice components:

1:1 COACHING: I'll coach one or more participants every week. This will be an opportunity for participants to take the initiative and explore what’s getting in their way of doing the DEI work they’d like to be doing and get support to clarify their goals and next steps.

PRACTICE LAB: You'll engage in focused coaching practice with other participants in private breakout groups as time and agenda allows.

Again, this is not a course with a set curriculum. As we move through the series, however, we’ll likely cover some, if not all, of the following:

  • How to create psychological safety for others so they can take the risk to be seen and do deep DEI work

  • Explore the rhythm of evocation and provocation in order to inspire your employees/peers/clients to creatively think about, and take action on, their DEI commitments

  • Develop and deepen your confidence through experimenting, trying things out and learning from mistakes

  • Practice moving towards a deeper level of being and understanding through listening and asking powerful questions related to one’s Essence, Vision, Identity, Beliefs, Values, and Capabilities

Enrollment details

This program will meet Fridays in the month of July from, 12:30AM to 2:30PM EST, over Zoom.

You must register for the entire month to attend. We’ll be creating a safe environment for real work—and that requires the same people showing up for the full two hours, every week.

Tuition is $300US/month. Partial scholarships will be available for a limited number of participants. I don’t let cost be a barrier to working with someone. This is a small cohort group and enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
