​At our Dinners at home, our members will have the chance to gather in homes with a private chef to discuss a single question that matters

​Our Guiding Question for the evening: How do you balance time for yourself and for others?

​Let's go deeper with how we find balance for our selves whilst also showing up for the people we love. How can this be mastered?

​Introducing Our Host: Carlos Ruz

​Hi there, my name is Carlos. I'm a Madrileño by right, but a world citizen by heart. I'm a curious adventurer always in search for new ways of understanding life and happiness. I’m that kind of person who’s not defined by their job (people rarely guesses it), I've attempted painting, playing an instrument, graphic design, sports, etc... but by my true passions are undoubtly: food and people. Always in for a good bite. Always ready to listen (if I'm not doing the talking).

You will probably always find me surrounded by people having funny and interesting conversations.

​Life is all about sharing and is never that serious, so let’s find a way to make fun of it!!

​Introducing Our Chef & Wine Expert:

​​Chef : Gloria SanMiguel

​​Hi I'm Gloria Sanmiguel, Latin cook and art historian, i have been living in Europe for 3 years already, I cooked in Bavaria, Germany for a year before settling in Madrid, I lived for 7 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I learned among many other things the art of asado, before that I spent a year traveling and cooking through Latin America, (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Uruguay), I am a writer, actress and singer. 

​​I am passionate about conscious, seasonal and waste-free gastronomy, Art in all its expressions, wine and nature, as a creative and bilingual chef I enjoy the spaces where it is possible to generate connections with different cultures and human perspectives through food. I understand cooking as a sensitive language, a powerful tool for change and an art so perfect that it is also eaten.

​​Wine Expert : Aleksei Poleukhin

​​Hi, I'm Aleksei Poleukhin, Gloria's partner 

​​A little about me: I am from St.-Petersburg, Russia and moved from there in 2022. I am an artist, designer and co-founder of the Research & Art Online Museum. Also I am founder and teacher of my online school of graphic design and visual arts. I have a passion for climbing and hiking. I appreciate good food, art and interesting connections and I consider myself a connoisseur, enthusiast and passionate about wine in general and Spanish wine in particular.

​What to expect at a Dinner at Home:

​All meals are 3-courses, cooked in-home by a professional chef, and will include:

• ​Main course & sides

• ​Dessert

• ​Wine & non-alcoholic option of either infused water or teas

​Our menu will be finalised/updated the day before the event once we understand the food requirements for all our guests.

​As always, the purpose is to come solo and leave with new connections!

​Tickets can be refunded up to 48 hours prior to the event. If you are unable to attend you can attempt to give your seat to another member who may want it using our community chat :)
