About Event

Join us for a community-building and comprehensive continuing education experience tailored for end-of-life professionals such as social workers, chaplains, death doulas and more! This workshop is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to navigate the intricate landscape of funeral planning.

As end-of-life clinicians, you're often entrusted by healthcare organizations to guide patients and their families through the funeral planning process. But how do you approach these discussions with confidence and compassion? What alternative options exist beyond conventional funeral arrangements? And how can you provide comprehensive support that extends beyond mere logistical assistance?

Together, we'll explore the evolving realm of funeral education. From honoring time-honored traditions to embracing modern innovations, we'll delve into the spectrum of funeral practices available today. Through interactive discussions and real-life case studies, you'll gain invaluable insights into facilitating meaningful conversations and empowering informed decision-making.

Moreover, we recognize the importance of fostering a vibrant community among end-of-life clinicians. That's why we're kicking off the session with a networking hour including some delicious food! We want to provide you with a platform to connect, collaborate, and share experiences with peers who understand the unique challenges and rewards of your profession.

By the end of this workshop, you'll depart with a wealth of resources to enhance your practice. From practical handouts for both you and your patients, to innovative approaches for supporting diverse cultural and financial needs, you'll be equipped to provide holistic and compassionate care every step of the way.

Join us as we embark on a journey toward empowerment, knowledge, and community-building in funeral education for end-of-life clinicians. Together, we'll pave the way for a future where every individual's closing chapter is honored with dignity, respect, and compassion.
