Yes, we did too!
When it comes to L&D, our roles are SO DIVERSE! And to make it even more complicated, roles with the same title have different responsibilities in different companies...🤯
So how are we supposed to know which role fits us best, how to break into L&D, or what other opportunities are there to explore?
Usually, one would need to go on a hunt online, and plan virtual coffees with many people to try and shed some light into our professions' many career possibilities.
We asked ourself: Is there another way? 👀
Our solution was L&D Career Expo — a one day expo showcasing a diverse palette of L&D professionals, rocking different roles and responsibilities. 🔥🔥🔥
The L&D Career Expo aims to introduce different L&D roles to beginners, as well as to those of us who want to grow in their role or switch to another. Each session will take 15 min + 15 min Q&A. Each host will share a glimpse into their role, projects, and challenges, so you can get a rich understanding of the various opportunities. 🙌
We will have three booths: Learning Technology, Coaching & Consulting, Design & Delivery. The precise schedule, speakers and Expo location will be updated later on.
We’ll leave behind a Miro board as artifact, with ideas, tools, resources and other helpful nuggets. ✨
