THE CONCEPT:

Covid Room was born and is managed by young creatives with the desire to promote music and contemporary art scene during forced isolation. Covid Room is a new format of music and art performance live streaming. Each user can be an active participant of the event: e-clubbing. Various Musicians, Djs and Audiovisual art performers will virtually play in front of you. You, the artist and every other participant will be part of a mosaic composed by your webcams where you can see and interact with each other through the integrated chat. Everyone will listen and dance to the same music. Our goal is to offer a more inclusive dimension in the frontier of online music and art entertainment. We believe in the power of art and sharing. We fight boredom and social isolation through the connection and cooperation between people. The artists involved are from every part of the world. Participation in virtual parties will be moderated. Some bits of the party might be recorded and published online after the event. We are a newborn project and collective, the platform used for these 2 events are gonna be “Zoom Meetings” for the videoconference and “Mixlr” for streaming audio in HQ. We’re already working on our ad-hoc platform for the next events.
