7:00pm - Deborah King, Founder of Global Measure - Combining her lifelong passion for sustainable practices with over a decade of experience in industrial engineering, Deborah King founded Global Measure Inc. to bridge the gap between fashion and sustainability. Motivated by her own journey and observations within the industry, Deborah envisioned a platform that empowers fashion brands to embrace responsible practices while fostering consumer trust and environmental stewardship.

​7:20pm – Stephanie Lipp, CEO & Co-founder at MycoFutures - Stephanie began her career immersed in art and photography. Her work in fashion portraiture, graphic design, and digital marketing earned her a reputation as a multi-talented creative professional.  Stephanie took a detour from the arts to manage non-profit housing, gaining a different perspective and honing her leadership skills. However, the pull of creativity and fresh ideas was too strong to resist. It led her and her partner to start a gourmet mushroom farm in rural Newfoundland.  Recognizing an opportunity for greater impact, and spurred by a love of fashion and fungi, Stephanie took a leap and co-founded a materials startup. As CEO of MycoFutures, Stephanie effectively melded her creative background with her entrepreneurial spirit, named a 2023 game changer by Natural Products Canada and invited to speak at events for Elevate Festival, Holt Renfrew and MaRS.

​7:40pm - Gérald Alvoët, VP of Marketing at Evoco- has a strong passion for brand building and innovative sustainability fields. With 15+ years in brand marketing and sales positions within high-growth fast-paced regulated consumer goods industries, Gérald Alvoët is a commercial executive driven by challenges where meaningful strategies are developed to connect brands with the conscious consumer of today.
