Join us for an interactive climate interview workshop with interview expert and founder Steven Zhang!
Background: In the first half of 2019, Steven embarked on an extensive job search. He followed a meticulous process that landed him 18 offers and 22 on-site interviews!
From this experience, Steven put together an exhaustive guide on interviewing best practices. While the target audience is Software Engineers, his advice is widely applicable. Steven will join us in diving deep into this guide and sharing his proven tactics with all of you.
We will follow up on the discussion with breakout rooms where we will conduct mock interviews so you can turn your new knowledge into action.
SPEAKER BIO:
Steven Zhang is a software engineer who's worked in Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Boston at Google, Tableau, and Airtable. He's been angel investing in climate tech startups since 2020 and created ClimateTechList as a side project in early 2023 in response to friends' feedback for a comprehensive jobs tracker for climate tech jobs. The site has now used by 20-30,000 unique users a month from all over the world and aggregates jobs from over 1,000 climate tech companies daily.
He also runs an electricity grid data company called https://interconnection.fyi/.
