About Event

About 15% of internet users have an accessibility need that affects how they engage with and participate in online sessions.💡

Yet, many workshop leaders are unsure how to provide an inclusive experience for participants with disabilities.

In this ButterMixer, leg by Marie Dubost, we’ll explore best practices in accessible online facilitation using Butter, starting from the session design, and consider how we can adjust our session plan in the moment.

In this interactive session, you will be invited to generate proactive and reactive strategies to welcome participants with disabilities into your online workshops and discuss how this may impact your online workshops. 🥳

About the host:

Marie is a facilitator and educator, mainly for non-profits, associations, and European Institutions, who focuses on accessible facilitation, and how technology can enhance our online workshop practice.

In a previous life, she worked alongside disability advocates to further their inclusion in work and society and is now developing the facilitation resources and training that she wishes existed when she got started.

For the smoothest experience, do join using Google Chrome on a laptop or PC or download our desktop app. Since we're usually using MURAL or Miro in our workshops, we recommend joining in with your ad blockers turned off (temporarily) and not in incognito mode.
