Meet the Speakers:
Ai Ching Goh started her professional career with a degree in Experimental Psychology and a media position at P&G. Quickly discovering her entrepreneurial spirit, she transitioned to a startup mindset & co-founded a web app, which turned into Piktochart, a visual communications tool that makes it easy to condense and consume information! Piktostory, her latest product, is an all-in-one video content editing tool.
As a startup that operates from Penang, but serves over 25 million global users , Ai Ching has taken an unconventional approach to growth by going against the grain of what the startup world teaches including in the areas of talent management, culture ”pruning" and bootstrapping.
Lavinie Thiruchelvam is a lawyer by degree (Bristol University), completed her Masters in Finance Law from LSE and worked as a banker before realizing her passion to become an entrepreneur. She founded Babydash in 2011 which is today Malaysia’s No.1 digital baby store with multiple branches in Singapore & other Asian countries. Babydash was also awarded 3rd prize for the Top 25 SMEs category by Digital Malaysia (National Digital Economy Initiative)
Shern Low, Lim Khai Xi and their fellow Bristol uni friends founded Ma-Kasih during the White Flag Movement with the aim to connect both donors and beneficiaries. Now, the team is looking to assist underprivileged peeps who are struggling in the F&B sectors - mainly by providing them the spotlight they deserve.
