✳️ What is the purpose of this Meetup?
The crypto industry has seen more than its fair share of ups and downs lately. The year seems to be ending on a rather tumultuous note. Market sentiments are at an all-time low and with unexpected debacles like Luna and FTX crash, even the most seasoned investors are left wondering what the future would look like.
CeFi exchanges are under the watchful eyes of the community that’s asking questions and demanding answers unabashedly. While these unfortunate developments have impacted the community’s overall morale, what investors and innovators have also learnt is that DeFi is the solution to most, if not all, of these problems. DeFi will play a major role in further democratizing crypto while focusing on funds security and self custody.
At CoinDCX, we have been burning the midnight oil - quite literally - for building a self custody wallet through our latest offering Okto. Okto will make DeFi easy to use, safe, compliant and trust-worthy while encouraging transparency and creating an even playing field in the finance ecosystem.
Join us at this meetup to learn more about Defi and its importance from our Co-Founder and the brain behind Okto, Neeraj Khandelwal. We will also be covering topics around the current challenges in Defi, opportunities to build in Defi and career opportunities for devs in this space.
Neeraj will be joined by Hemant Gupta, AVP Engineering, CoinDCX to talk about our Defi app Okto and how we’re enabling Self Custody and investor safety on the product.

After working in Tech Business for 6+ years, Praphull started his Web3 journey in 2020, all thanks to a slight nudge from Covid and a hard nudge from his tech friends. Developing trading bots, handling communities, writing blogs, and shilling products he loves are a few things he has worked on full-time.

Who is eligible to attend?
Anyone can fill out the form.
The first few members will give the approval based on the accommodation available at the venue.
If there are not enough places available, the approval will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to join the meet-up?
You will receive an email invitation with location details, and a link to join the chapter WhatsApp group.
Any preparation for the meet-up?
