BIO:
Hello! Iβm Maritsa Inglessis, Owner & Director of IM HR Consulting Ltd. My passion for our profession was and still is driven by the fact that we spend a lot of time in our lifetimes at work. I want to play a part in making work more fun and engaging, as well as helping to provide purpose for people, rather than it being a chore. The majority of my career has been spent in in-house HR/People departments. I've had the privilege of working in and with a number of companies in a range of industries, from startups to established enterprises, both remotely and in-person. Iβve worked in some very large well-known organisations, as well as some small businesses. I also experienced the public sector, working for my local Fire & Rescue Service, which was a LOT of fun! In 2020 I set up as an independent consultant, providing generalist HR services to businesses. More recently I have shifted my business focus to helping startup businesses to grow and scale. I do this in 2 ways:

When I'm not working, I'm usually:
βDJing; I regularly DJ on internet radio stations and co-manage one as well
βWalking; my focus for 2024 is to get out and walk more
βSpending time with my husband and our 3 ex-racing greyhounds in our newly renovated home in Kefalonia, Greece
