Servercore Developer Meetup: Backups 101

​Servercore and Tech Safari are hosting their first Developer Meetup in Nairobi.

​Servercore Meetups are a series of in-person meetups for developers and technology leaders to connect and share practical insights.

​The first meetup is on May 14th from 5pm in Nairobi. You can expect: 

• ​​Light snacks and drinks 

• ​Great connections made

• ​​A practical session led by tech leaders.

• ​Insights and connections to advance your tech career

​We will be joined by three tech leaders for a session called Backups 101, and will have a set of practical workshops to explore backup strategy and best practices.

​Backups 101 will be hosted by Caleb Maru, founder of Tech Safari, and will feature: 

• ​Kip Maritim: CTO of Leta - who will share best practices for backups and how to manage failed backups.

• ​Ivan Romanko, CTO of Servercore, who will reveal the step-by-step guide to creating a backup strategy 

• ​Dr. Bright Gameli Mawudor, Cybersecurity expert and CEO of CyberGuard Africa - who will expand on the need for a well-documented backup strategy and the implementation of documented procedures for backup.
