About Event

Are you interested in exploring your work (whether paid, volunteer, or other?) and the deep questions of what your gifts are and what you have to offer the world, to find some clarity on what your right next steps might be? Then this retreat is for you!

Who: Anyone interested in exploring questions around the work they are called to do in the world (at any age!)

Where? This is a hybrid mini-retreat. There are options on your registration to attend in-person at Beacon Hill Friends House or on Zoom. Participants can switch from in-person registration to Zoom registration at any point.

Food? We will be supplying a light pizza dinner on both evenings, as well as a veggie tray, cookies and tea (in-person attendees only). You will feel well-nourished and well-held so you can focus on discernment and listening to your own inner teacher.

Is there a cost? No! This event is free and open to all.

If you feel led and able to donate, we appreciate folks who are able to contribute to the cost of running this event (including through institutional support). The true cost of running this event is about $2500.

Covid policies: All participants attending in-person at BHFH need to be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccination and wear a mask while inside. We ask that you stay at home if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (or other related illnesses) on the day of the event.

About Beacon Hill Friends House: Beacon Hill Friends House is a Quaker Center and Intentional Community based in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. Our address is: 8 Chestnut St. Boston, MA 02108.

  • The primary entrance is up a flight of stairs and we have a sidewalk level entrance to our basement level that can accommodate small and standard size wheelchairs (the turning radius is too small for large motorized chairs).

  • The location is within walking distance of all Boston transit lines.

  • Should you choose to drive, BHFH has parking passes to the Boston Common garage available for $9. We will sell these on-site. Simply park in the garage and bring your ticket with you.
