Join Arkive member Abisola on Saturday, 11/5 for a guided walkthrough of the powerful Arctic/Amazon exhibition at Toronto's Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery. Afterwords, Abisola & Arkive will host attendees for small plates & drinks at Clockwork.
This exhibition spotlights contemporary Indigenous artists from the circumpolar Arctic and the Amazon while exploring the ways in which Indigenous contemporary artists and collaborators take on issues of climate change, globalized Indigeneity, and contact zones in and about the Arctic and the Amazon during a time of crisis.
