Get Active Happy Hour: Voter Turnout Letter Writing

​Looking for an easy way to get politically active in your community and meet people at the same time?

​Writing letters to voters is one of the most effective ways to help increase election turnout, and doing it alongside friendly people with snacks and drinks makes it fun!

​Join us for a night of easy (and social) activism by writing simple heartfelt handwritten letters to unregistered and low-propensity voters encouraging them to participate in our democracy.

​All materials are provided by the independent and non-partisan organization called https://votefwd.org, and paid for by community donations. You don't have to contribute anything but your time and handwriting.

​2022 is going to be a big year for Pennsylvania's general elections! Your participation really does make a difference.

​Our current goal is 1400 letters, and our volunteers have written 340 so far. Join in and help us keep going!

​First time participants from all communities are welcome. We'll have a case of beer, snacks, and all the letter writing supplies you'll need at the Indy Hall Clubhouse (709 N 2nd St).

​All you have to do is bring yourself, proof of vaccination, and your best penmanship!
