Get Active Happy Hour: Voter Turnout Letter Writing
Looking for an easy way to get politically active in your community and meet people at the same time?
Writing letters to voters is one of the most effective ways to help increase election turnout, and doing it alongside friendly people with snacks and drinks makes it fun!
Join us for a night of easy (and social) activism by writing simple heartfelt handwritten letters to unregistered and low-propensity voters encouraging them to participate in our democracy.
All materials are provided by the independent and non-partisan organization called https://votefwd.org, and paid for by community donations. You don't have to contribute anything but your time and handwriting.
2022 is going to be a big year for Pennsylvania's general elections! Your participation really does make a difference.
Our current goal is 1400 letters, and our volunteers have written 340 so far. Join in and help us keep going!
First time participants from all communities are welcome. We'll have a case of beer, snacks, and all the letter writing supplies you'll need at the Indy Hall Clubhouse (709 N 2nd St).
All you have to do is bring yourself, proof of vaccination, and your best penmanship!
