ATX DAO Spring 2023 Roadmap Workshop
Purpose of the Saturday Workshop:
Discuss and define ATX DAO goals and projects for January through April (SXSW + Consensus)
Agenda:
Discuss DAO Tooling Stack needs and options to track/reward member contributions (REP Token and REP-NFT).
Discuss current-member onboarding improvements.
Discuss next membership round: when, how, and improving the application -> minting process.
Discuss SXSW event and sponsorship efforts.
ATX DAO will supply food and drinks for the meeting. We'll make it a really fun time, while getting important stuff done. And Keiretsu is a great spot, too, so if you haven't had an opportunity to join for a weekday co-working session yet (Weds 2-5pm), this will be a nice preview of the space. RSVP will help us order refreshments accurately. If you have snack/drink/dietary requests, please contact CrystalGravy: community@atxdao.com.
FYI/FAQ:
Q: Why meet on Saturday and not a weeknight?
Weeknights generally allow for a two-hour meeting. We have too much to cover in one night. This is also a 3-day weekend (Monday MLK), so hopefully people are more available.
We will have thorough notes for people to review if they can't attend. We will attempt an A/V Zoom aspect for remote members, but we can't guarantee that yet. If you need this, please contact CrystalGravy.
Q: Why on Saturday Jan 14th instead of later in January/Feb?
Jan 21st is the ATX DAO Pitch Competition. It would be great to have these goals and projects defined in advance, so that we can discuss the roadmap and new-member strategies with confidence and solicit feedback.
If we want to have the REP token and REP-NFT systems humming before SXSW, we need to evaluate DAO Tooling Stacks and and pick a platform in January, then internally launch in Feb/March. SXSW is not a hard deadline, though.
Note: Paying $USDC to contributors (via Giving Circles) is a good new process that is unlocking member action and builders. Creating the REP system will establish a system for getting even more done within ATX DAO. Within a few months, we hope that REP can open to non-members and really unlock engagement and activity in Austin! Gotta get that kickstarted soon if we value capturing SXSW/Consensus audiences.
