Lauren's career began with a business degree from Tulane University, followed by a journey through the hallowed halls of the University of Miami School of Law, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2005. She spent years working in an intellectual property boutique firm emphasizing trademark investigation, acquisition, enforcement, prosecution, and litigation. She then clerked at the Third District Court of Appeals in Florida, focusing on conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda, and crafting court opinions.
After adding 'mom' to her resume, Lauren launched Happily Ever Elephants, an award-winning resource for insightful children's book reviews. Her expertise in children's literature garnered features in Parents Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Publisher's Weekly, and others.
