​What is SIH ?

Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. Smart India Hackathon is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Persistent Systems and Inter Institutional Inclusive Innovation Centre (i4C).SIH 2023 brings the next generation evolution by inclusion of new methodology to inculcate the culture of startup and innovation ecosystem across different age groups.

Aim:
It aims to inculcate the culture of product innovation, problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking among students.

TEAM FORMATION:

• ​All team members should be from the same college; no inter-college teams will be allowed.

• ​However, for college/ institute; members from different branches of the will be encouraged to form a team.

• ​Each team would mandatorily comprise of 6 members including the team leader and at least one female member. 

​Objective:

​The primary goal of this Internal Hackathon is to provide our students with a platform to engage in a challenging and dynamic problem-solving environment, enhance their technical and teamwork skills, and encourage them to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.   

​Event Details: 

​Duration: 12 Hours (Morning 7:00 AM to Evening 7:00 PM)
Tentative Dates: 15 Sept. 
Venue: D Block, AIT Campus.   
Last date to register : 10th September , 2023
