Join us for an insightful session led by Ryan Wexler, Principal at SignalFire, as he moderates a discussion with industry experts on Language Models (LLMs). Panelists:

  • Alex Dimakis: Alex is a professor and director of the Texas Center for Generative AI in UT Austin. He is also the President and Chief Scientist of BespokeLabs.ai, a startup he co-founded for data curation and data centric AI.  He received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and the Diploma degree from NTU in Athens, Greece. He has published more than 150 papers and received several awards including the James Massey Award, NSF Career, a Google research award, the UC Berkeley Eli Jury dissertation award, and several best paper awards.  He is an IEEE Fellow for contributions to distributed coding and learning.

  • Ari Morcos:  Ari is the CEO and co-founder of Datology AI. Previously, he was a senior staff research scientist at Meta AI Research (FAIR Team) in Menlo Park working on understanding the mechanisms underlying neural network computation and function, and using these insights to build machine learning systems more intelligently. Most recently, his work has focused on understanding properties of data and how these properties lead to desirable and useful representations, with a particular emphasis on data curation. Ari's work has been honored with Outstanding Paper awards at both NeurIPS and ICLR. Before joining FAIR, Ari worked at DeepMind in London, and earned his PhD in neuroscience working with Chris Harvey at Harvard University. 

  • Richard Meng: Richard is the co-founder & CEO of Roe AI. Prior to Roe AI, he was the core engineer in Snowflake Gen AI and developed Snowflake Copilot, which allows chatting with Snowflake data. Prior to Snowflake, Richard was a Staff engineer at LinkedIn, building skills knowledge graph products.
