AI Engineering Meetup
Join us, in partnership with AI NYC and Blockchain NYC, for our March AI Engineering Meetup. This is a monthly series for engineers, researchers, and builders interested in AI development. We explore how foundation models are being integrated into real-world products, what tools and techniques are emerging, and what’s next for the field.
AI is no longer just a research discipline—it’s becoming a core part of software development. AI Engineers work at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and product development, making powerful models (like GPT-4, Claude, and open-source alternatives) and in real applications.
What to Expect
Discussions on AI engineering and prompt engineering, their roles in modern development, and how they’re shaping the future of software.
Guest speakers Kathryn Middleton (v0) and Jamie Wilkinson (Glif) will share insights on AI applications, technical challenges, and demo their products.
A space to connect with others working in AI, whether you’re actively building or just starting to explore the field.
About Kathryn
Kathryn Middleton is the Engineering Manager of v0 at Vercel. She loves how quickly anyone can take an idea and bring it to life in seconds with just a prompt using v0. Before joining Vercel she was the Tech Lead for meta.ai, Engineering Manager for React, and Software Engineer on instagram.com.
