We’re excited to welcome Florence Ofori, AI engineer and Specialized Masters student at Arizona State University (ASU), who will briefly share her experiences in her talk:
“A Woman’s Journey with AI.”
Florence is currently part of ASU’s AI Acceleration Lab, focusing on Generative AI to improve business productivity. She previously worked at Google, specializing in machine learning and data processing, and has also contributed to AI education initiatives at Ashesi University.

Founder & CEO
Susan Sly has been voted as one of the top female entrepreneurs in Artificial Intelligence in 2023 and listed by RT Insights as one of the top 19 women of Al to watch in 2024. She was the former Co-CEO and co-founder of RadiusAl, a leading computer vision company in the healthcare and retail sector, an angel investor, keynote speaker, and podcast host of the highly acclaimed show Raw and Real Entrepreneurship. She has appeared on CNN, CNBC, Fox, Lifetime Television, The CBN, and The Morning Show in Australia. Sly has been quoted in MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance, Forbes, and more. She is a graduate of MIT Sloan.

Farnaz is a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University, specializing in Educational Policy and Evaluation. She holds a master's in English Language Teaching and has nearly four years of teaching experience. Her research focuses on science and language education, with a recent emphasis on generative AI's role in supporting teachers and promoting educational equity.
