About Event

Join Allyson Felix and Alysia Montaño—track stars, advocates, activists, and mothers—as they discuss navigating the sports world and their careers through motherhood. Inspired to act following their experiences navigating the systemic barriers facing women and mothers in sports, Alysia chose to start a nonprofit, and Allyson chose to focus on creating change through business. Through their efforts, they are working to leave the sporting world better for the next generation and create increased support for women and working moms overall. Moderated by Danette Leighton, CEO of the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF), these game-changing speakers will share how their distinct yet aligned approaches are breaking barriers for women, and what still needs to be done for more equitable child care solutions.
