Presented by Homes + Studios: An Artist Talk With Jason Nocito
Jason Nocito is a New York-based artist and photographer. His work spans a variety of subjects, from celebrities such as Nicolas Cage, Grimes, André 3000, and Post Malone to capturing the energy of the people and surroundings in his personal life. He regularly contributes editorial work to publications like The Fader, GQ, Rolling Stone, Nylon, ESPN, Wired, Fast Company, and Teen Vogue.
His interest in photography began at the age of 13, when his older brother passed down a camera to him. He studied photography and painting at F.I.T. before transferring to Parsons School of Design.
Nocito has published multiple books, including PUD, a collection of photographs of New York City street debris and puddles, interspersed with images from a road trip across the United States. This work was published by Dashwood Books in 2014.
