As you well know:
Roughly $11T-$30T+ will be transferred to women by 2030- this is in addition to the $10 trillion in total US household financial assets women already control
In 2023, only 7% of US climate tech funding went to female founders, down from 9% in 2022
Across all sectors, only 1.9% of VC funding went to female founders
In fact, while looking for data on women investors in climate VC or PE, we were unable to even find the data! (If you know of good sources, we'd love to see).
As such, the mission of this event is to tangibly empower women in climate and sustainable finance to grow community together and share insights, and we welcome any non-woman identifying individuals who are also LPs/GPs in the space to attend this event.
