AUVSI Empire State Welcomes Jon McBride

​Jon McBride has been in the drone industry for over two decades. Initially starting with Radio Controlled Airplanes and Helicopters as a child, he adapted his interests to creating UAS solutions based on the current availability to meet the growing needs for drones. Jon has been a business owner and the co-founder of Rocky Mountain Unmanned Systems (RMUS), a premier Enterprise Reseller for the industry. There, he demonstrated true value in providing drones to save money, time, and lives for many of the customers he served. In 2022, Jon was appointed VP of Autel Robotics, where he played a key role in developing a training and certification program for Autel products. He currently holds the position of Chairman for The Droning Company. Jon has also served five years in the USMC as an Electronic Technician and Marksmanship Instructor.
