About the speakers
Loewen Cavill
Loewen began her journey in entrepreneurship as a healthcare and technology investor at Bessemer Venture Partners and Dorm Room Fund. She graduated from MIT with a major in Mechanical Engineering with Computer Science. After graduating, she designed the magnet factory for a nuclear fusion startup and then founded and led the data prognostics team at GoogleX.
Loewen founded Amira with the mission to unlock the full potential of women after seeing her aunt struggle with sleep deprivation for years due to her menopausal hot flashes. Amira provides holistic health care during menopause by predicting women’s symptoms and responding preemptively to counteract them.
