Systems Series 3

​Welcome to the third event of the Systems Change for Sustainable Tech Co-creation series on Miro board. Throughout the series we will be co-creating a vision for sustainable tech, map the current reality using systems maps (causal loop diagrams), find leverages to intervene for greater impact, design interventions, create action plans to reduce the gap between vision and current reality.

​Over the previous workshops, we’ve created the shared vision for sustainable tech, explored systems thinking and collaboratively created a map of the forces driving unsustainable tech. This final session builds on that foundation, shifting our focus from understanding the problem to actively designing solutions.

​During this 90-minute co-creation session, you will:

• ​Revisit the Systems Map: We’ll briefly review the causal loop diagram created in the previous workshop, ensuring a shared understanding of the key leverage points where effective interventions can have greater impact.

• ​Explore Systemic Intervention Strategies: We’ll introduce and discuss various approaches to systemic intervention.

• ​Co-Design Fundamental Interventions: We'll be brainstorming potential interventions that address the root causes of unsustainable tech.

​This workshop is the third in a series, and assumes some familiarity with systems thinking and the systems map created in the previous session.

​Why is this important? Truly sustainable change requires addressing the underlying structures and beliefs that perpetuate unsustainable practices. By designing fundamental interventions, we can move beyond treating symptoms and create a resilient, equitable, and ecologically responsible tech ecosystem.
