Join the Stella Upstate NY Chapter for an adventurous Saturday meetup as we explore one of Western NY’s most unique natural wonders—Eternal Flame Falls—followed by a casual lunch nearby!

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM meetup / hike begins by 10:15 AM
📍 Trailhead: Eternal Flame Hiking Trail, Orchard Park, NY 14127

🥾 Hike Details
This is a 1.2-mile out-and-back trail in Shale Creek Preserve (part of Chestnut Ridge Park). The route is moderately challenging with uneven terrain and takes about 30 minutes to complete. It's a popular and scenic trail—featuring a natural eternal flame that burns at the base of the falls!
⛰ Total Elevation: ~30 feet
🐾 Dogs are welcome—must be leashed

Hiking shoes or trail sneakers (the terrain can be muddy and slippery)
Water bottle
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Optional: trekking poles or towel if you'd like to get closer to the water
