Connect & Repair

​This is a get-together where we connect and repair from the week over a couple of storytelling exercises.

​At YouTellYours we know that storytelling, as an experience and not a skill, is the most effective way for us to connect. As you practice you will get more comfortable and your storytelling will get clearer. But we already inherently know how to tell stories. Storytelling is a wonderful part of being human and we do it all the time with friends and family without really thinking about it. By having an event where we share stories with people we don't necessarily know yet, we get to experience the connecting effect of storytelling.

​The stories that come out are often fun, but there's no need to be funny. Sometimes the stories can be emotional, but you don't need to bare your soul. Often the most memorable stories just give a glimpse of a different location, time, or perspective.

​There's nothing complicated about it all. You don't need to prepare anything. In fact, you can't prepare! We will set the exercises and you just turn up and enjoy the experience.
