"How I Built This" is a CMU T&E Builder's Community series focused on sharing projects in the community by diving deep into how we built them. The goal? To inspire others to start building.

Every month we invite 2 speakers to walk us through how they brought something from 0 to 1. Each speaker will have around 30 mins (15 min walkthrough + 15 min Q&A). Get ready to see some awesome projects!

Abbey is the Founder @ re:Bloom Digital, a platform that connects business owners with developers, designers, and digital marketers. Their mission is to help communities thrive by providing women & minority-owned small businesses with accessible and affordable tech. She will be walking us through her journey of building out re:Bloom from 0-1 and how she balances her business alongside her full-time job. Check out her company at re-bloom.org

Samir is a 3x founder and the Co-Founder/Chief Product Officer @ Boom & Bucket, a B2B marketplace for everything heavy equipment. He was previously the head of Caterpillar Digital Labs and VP of Product at Yard Club (acquired by Caterpillar Inc).
