How to: Define your career values and priorities
About the Session:
“I have to update my resume, asap.”
No doubt this was the first thought you had right after, “Eek, I need a new job.”
When you need or want a new role, your first instinct is to move. To take action. To update your resume. Email your contacts. Start preparing for your job search as quickly as possible.
Here’s my advice: don’t. Stop. Pause.
If you don’t know what’s important to you in your next role, what your unique value proposition is, or what’s going to make it feel more aligned or successful than previous roles, you’re going to waste a lot of energy and effort.
You’ll be throwing spaghetti at the wall, instead of running a focused, strategic job search process.
Instead of jumping to your resume, you need to get clear on your Career DNA. Or the unique mix of values, strengths, priorities, and passions that shape what aligned work looks like for you.
For the first time ever, I’m unlocking the first (and arguably the most important) component of my Aligned Ambition Method in a single session. Join me and in sixty minutes, define the core building blocks of your career today.
You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of who you are now, what you’re craving more of, and how to move forward with focus and purpose.
You can’t build a career that fits if you don’t know what you’re made of.
Let’s design a career that is right for you.
