About Event
Companion planting is a technique that has been used by gardeners for centuries to help cultivate thriving vegetable gardens and beyond/ Join us for our event, "Companion Planting in the Vegetable Garden and Beyond," where we will explore the benefits of planting complementary plants together. We'll explore five types of companion planting:
(1) Companions for deterring pests
(2) Companions for sharing soil space without competing
(3) Companions for enhancing nutrients (dynamic accumulators)
(4) Companions for attracting beneficial insects
(5) Companions for building guilds (both perennial and annual)
