Tommy Hyde's Bio
Tommy 'The Governor' Hyde is a distinguished professional boxer competing in the Super Middleweight category. Standing tall at 6'4'', he holds the prestigious title of BUI Celtic Champion and maintains an impressive undefeated record of 10 wins, with 7 of those victories achieved by knockout. Prior to his professional career, Tommy showcased his talent on the amateur circuit, representing Ireland at both youth and senior levels. He clinched three national championships and participated in 100 fights, emerging victorious in 75 of them.
Tommy’s success extends beyond his amateur achievements, with gold medals at prestigious events like the Celtic Cup and the Harringey Cup. He claimed the Celtic Title in just his 8th fight while competing in San Francisco during St. Patrick’s Weekend in 2024. Under the expert guidance of his coach, Lee Beard, from Manchester, U.K., Tommy remains committed to rigorous training to continually refine his skills.
In addition to his boxing pursuits, Tommy also serves as a licensee at Hannah Bawn's, a family bar in Cork, where he enjoys interacting with his patrons. Despite his demanding schedule, Tommy remains committed to his craft, consistently seeking new challenges and showcasing his talents on a global stage.
