Sustainable Jewelry-Making: From Trash to Treasure ♻️💎
Sustainable jewelry is back! Join us on Friday, December 6th, for a one-of-a-kind jewelry-making experience where sustainability meets creativity, turning plastic waste into wearable art! Wellness for our mind and the Earth 💚
In this creative, eco-friendly workshop, you’ll design custom earrings using colorful shapes crafted from recycled NYC plastics. This is your chance to express your imagination while learning about material circularity and embracing sustainability ♻️
This workshop is guided by Rina Shin, and in collaboration with Precious Plastic NYC (PPNYC). Rina is a Color and Material Designer with over 15 years of professional experience working with brands like Microsoft and Logitech. PPNYC is a New York-based initiative dedicated to transforming plastic waste into sustainable materials through community-focused, creative workshops.
Ticket includes all the materials needed to create a pair of earrings (including hardware for clip-ons). Feel free to BYO additional hardware to turn your creations into necklaces, charms, or anything else you dream up.
