How to Show Up: A Workshop for Supporting People Through the Hard Stuff
About the Session:
It’s hard to know what to do or say when someone’s going through loss, crisis, or change. We want to help — but most of us were never taught how.
How to Show Up introduces a practical, grief-informed framework for supporting others through life’s hardest moments. Whether you’re a colleague, friend, people manager, or in the messy middle yourself, this workshop offers real tools for how to be present in difficult moments, not perfect.
You’ll leave with a practical, human framework for showing up with confidence — and responding to hard moments with clarity, care, and compassion.
About the Host:
Sarah Kagan is the founder of Keriah and a grief coach helping leaders, teams, and individuals navigate life’s hardest moments. After losing her mom to pancreatic cancer and being met with a deeply unsupportive workplace, Sarah realized how few people knew how to show up, and how isolating grief can be when no one around you has lived it. Her work is rooted in lived experience, practical tools, and the belief that real support starts with real conversations.
